Babies are unquestionably cute and adorable. But so much of their stuff isn’t! Of course, having a baby does not mean that you have to sacrifice style in your home. Live Sans Coffee Table (For Awhile)
Replacing your space-eating, hard-cornered coffee table with a soft ottoman is a good idea for families with wobbly babies and rambunctious toddlers. Or forget about the ottoman altogether and just leave your living space wide and empty in the middle, which your kids will absolutely love for playtime. The Glider Situation
It’s pretty difficult to find a comfortable and attractive rocker chair. There’s a few out there (check out our roundup), but you can also think about buying that ugly, but oh-so-comfy glider and having it reupholstered in a fabric you enjoy that goes with the rest of your home. You won’t regret it, and when you’re done using it, you’ll have no problem re-selling or gifting it to a friend.

Baskets, Baskets, and More Baskets
Hide as much as you possibly can in baskets. Stick them in corners, next to your couch, in the dining room, etc. Baskets are easy for toddlers to handle, look good, and can help you stay organized. Seriously, just put hooks everywhere. Bags, clothes, toys—hang them up and keep them off your already-cluttered floor. There are so many great and attractive hook options right now, and kids can easily use them to learn to put things away.
