In case your eyes skimmed over the link in our latest Motherlode news roundup, here’s the brief again: Land of Nod is no more. (Yep, that’s right. Pour out a little liquor, mamas.) Instead, the label has been rebranded Crate & Kids, which creates a clearer tie with parent company Crate & Barrel (which acquired the brand in 2001).

While the majority of the beloved Land of Nod inventory—Jenny Lind beds, an array of playful decor and toys, apparel and playhouses—still seems to be intact on the new Crate & Kids website (including the well-known Nod Chair, which has retained its name), other changes are afoot.

According to Crate & Kids PR, beginning in April, the Crate & Kids brand will come to life in over 40 Crate & Barrel stores across the country. In addition to getting an in-person touch-and-feel session with the products, customers will have access to nursery, bedroom, and playspace design services, as well as speciality gifting and a baby registry.

Head over to Crate & Kids to check out the changes and let us know if you’re feeling them…or not.
