These once-a-year occasions are finite and each one feels a little richer than the last. The love in those small gestures is worth more than a massage or any other cliche Mother's Day gift."

On Mother's Day 2017... "My entire day was one of sunshine! It began with a latte from my favorite local coffee shop, Two Guns of Manhattan Beach, followed by incredible artwork from my son Judah. We then ventured outside the Southbay bubble to support our local artisans at the Echo Park Craft Fair, followed by a family brunch at Sqirl and a new Christy Dawn dress to top it off!"

On Mother's Day 2017... "We had sushi for dinner in Silver Lake together and my son was making jokes at me that had us all laughing for so long. We spent our day at EPCF and it was great. My first Mother's Day in the U.S.!"
