There is nothing better than getting something fun in the mail. Your own mail may be swimming with bills and fliers and predatory credit card applications, but every once in a while, you’ll get a letter from your old roommate now in Paris or the latest issue of Cherry Bombe, and it turns a doldrum day at the mailbox into something special. Kids think mail is riveting and are always wanting to receive. You can give them a few cheesy magazines to faun over, but wouldn’t it be more fun for all involved if instead they were receiving beautiful, monthly and quarterly magazines personalized to their age? To that end, we rounded up six of our favorite kid-publications that are packed with art, activities, and stories that you, too, will enjoy.

Also, there’s an awesome snail mail service for kids and Sunny the Mail Snail sends kids a WEEKLY letter. The personal letters make kids feel important and encourage reading. They are story telling educational letters. Kids are running to mailbox every week! http://www.snailmailforkids.com
