Hanna’s Bedtime Stories Takes New York!

With the New York City school year just around the corner, Hanna Andersson and MOTHER helped bring a little bedtime magic to Tribeca—gathering families from across the city for two very special August story times.
Set inside the dreamiest children’s bookshop, Words on Warren, little ones arrived in PJs from Hanna Andersson’s new Bedtime Stories collection, ready for a celebration of books, music, movement, and plenty of magic. Leading the festivities was Alan Muraoka, the beloved Sesame Street star, who brought some of his favorite bedtime stories to life—including The Monster at the End of This Book, Green Eggs and Ham, and The Book with No Words.
But this was far more than story time. Alan had the entire room—kids and grown-ups alike—singing and dancing along, culminating in a particularly heart-melting rendition of “Sunny Days.” It was the kind of moment that reminded us why gathering IRL matters: a room full of smiling families, great story-telling, and a little bit of joy shared together.
The afternoon continued with delicious bites from Poppy’s, donuts from DOUGH, and family-friendly drinks from No Biggie, plus a bookmark-making station for the kids, Hanna Andersson PJ giveaways, and gift bags packed with goodies from some of our favorite brands: Warmies, Bakery Bling, Thames & Kosmos, JoyCat, Mudpuppy, Oilogic, Laurel Denise, Poppy & Pout, and Traditional Medicinals.
It was a pretty perfect way to ease into a new school year—and a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best family memories are made when we simply slow down, get cozy, and share a story.
