We’re big fans of Benefit’s They’re Real! Mascara, a potion that gives your lashes a falsies-like effect. So, we were hyped to hear that the brand is coming out with what they hope is an equally boundary-pushing product, the They’re Real! Push-Up Liner, to be released June 27, 2014.
Billed as “the first ever lash-hugging gel liner pen,” the tiny wand features a special rubberized, angled tip that guides the gel liner along one’s lid, and allows you to get extra-close to your lashline for a deeper smolder. We have a few tester tubes on hand, and like the accompanying They’re Real! Mascara, the new liner seems to be effective, but also super long-lasting (read: pretty hard to get off). Ta-da! Benefit is looking to solve that issue, too, adding an $18 They’re Real! Remover to its arsenal in late June, as well.
While it still remains to be seen if we keep reaching for this push-up liner every morning, for now we’re feeling a little less intimidated about perfecting a cat eye (or any of these spring beauty looks) in a pinch.
They’re Real! Push Up Liner, $24, Benefit, available June 27th.
