Baby names…we can probably stop explaining how much we love to obsess over them. So, of course, when we saw The Guardian came out with a list of the top baby monikers in England and Wales for 2013, we couldn’t wait to share it with our fellow obsessives. With the U.S. and England sharing so many similarities, we were interested to see if names on both sides of the pond would follow suit. What did we find? Compared to the most popular U.S. baby names for 2013 (see the list here), five of the same girl names (Olivia, Sophie/Sophia, Isabella, Mia, and Emily) appear on both country’s top 10 lists, meanwhile only two of the top 10 boy names made both lists (Jacob and William).
