Last week in Los Angeles, we gathered 50 moms to discuss the most pressing topic in raising kids today: parenting screen time. The occasion? The launch of Clearspace Family—a brand-new 24/7 screen-time concierge, tailored to your family’s needs. Designed for parents, by parents—this new system of parental controls was developed by the same team behind the popular Clearspace screen time management app for adults.

Nestled in the gorgeous Granada at-home cafe in Echo Park, we asked our guests to take some time for solo reflection around their personal family values and the kinds of lives they’d like to lead alongside their kids. Then, we split our group into smaller cohorts based on their child’s screen access level—who has an iPhone, who is thinking about getting one, kids using iPads only, etc. What’s working for them? What’s not? What would they do differently, or the same? The resulting conversations were deep, meaningful, and nuanced.
