Casa Studio — Celebrating 10 Years Of Giving Back

Portraits with personality. Giving back with purpose. That’s the ethos of Casa Studio, the pop-up portrait experience created by photographer and mom Priscilla Gragg in 2016. Now a decade in, Casa Studio has donated over $100,000 from its shoots to organizations that support children and teens in Africa and Priscilla’s native Brazil (including a new capoeira center in Bahia).

To mark Casa Studio‘s milestone 10-year anniversary, the project has a fresh new look—complete with a shiny new website and illustrated mascot dubbed “the busy girl.” To celebrate, we invited 16 Bay Area families to experience the magic of a Casa Studio shoot together.

Each family received the grand Casa Studio treatment, which mimics being on the set of a legit advertising shoot (Priscilla has shot campaigns for Apple, GAP, Nike, and countless others). There’s fancy professional lighting, hair and makeup, an on-site kid wrangler, a barista making “busy girl” lattes on-demand, kid-friendly snacks, and a play room with helpers to entertain the children while parents relax. And, of course, there’s Priscilla’s golden lens and incredible talent that makes everyone look like a million bucks.

Want to experience it for yourself? You can now book your own Casa Studio portrait session—for your kids or the whole family—via Casa Studio’s website.
