Cute and comfortable shoes are often hard to come by. Thankfully, after discovering L.A.-based shoe designer Beatrice Valenzuela Botines, we no longer have to don sneakers while pushing our strollers—and our feet are looking cute to boot. (Pun intended.)
Not only did Valenzuela recently have a beautiful baby boy to add to her brood (she also has a five-year-old daughter, Astrid), the designing mama also opened up her first brick and mortar shop in Echo Park in October. And after taking a look at her goods, including a handmade assortment of leather booties, sandals, and slip-ons for men, women, and children, one can understand why she has one hell of a cult following! We’re talking a month-long waitlist of eager women trying to get their hands on a pair of her coveted soles.
We say you get on it, too. Yup, we’re officially giving our stamp of approval on matching mother-daughter kicks!
