There is truly nothing like the moment of birth. No two experiences are the same, but it’s fair to say that the magical mix of relief, joy, and infinite love that accompanies finally meeting your baby is beyond powerful. And when that moment is perfectly captured on film? Jackpot. Each year the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers holds a competition, and the winning images beautifully capture the intense emotions, physical feats, and medical miracles that accompany birth.
