The chicken pot pie has been a family favorite for generations. With its thick, buttery crust and creamy chicken and veggie filling, children and adults alike can’t resist. So, when we were thinking about our next “What’s For Dinner?” recipe, we decided that pot pie was it—with a little spin, of course. We ditched the pot and brought in a cast-iron skillet, used Foster Farms Simply Raised Chicken because it’s antibiotic-free, California-raised, fresh, and natural, and added sage and white wine for elevated flavor, making this traditional dish a new comfort food. Take a look at our savory rendition below, and don’t be surprised if it becomes a hit around your dinner table. Heck, it may even replace grandma’s recipe!
