Your July 2016 Horoscope

A new month is among us, which means it’s time for your July horoscope. Take a peek at your monthly reading below from our favorite cosmic lady Christie Craft.

Many of us may shy away from the social sphere in the first weeks of July when it’s easy to overextend or misplace our energies. World-weary signs who’ve been through the wringer in the last several months—namely, water signs Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio, and earth signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn—will need to refill their great well of giving and rethink where (or who) they’ve been investing their energy with. A New Moon in private, maternal Cancer on July 4th will set the tone for healing, bringing each sign’s heart back home. Family will be key in all endeavors during this lunation, whether it be spending time with blood relatives, forming new intimacies with friends who feel like family, or growing your immediate family with a pregnancy or birth. Air signs like Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra, and Fire signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius will find strength in leaning on family members for financial advice, or even going into business with investments or real estate.

Regardless, finding emotional security is each and every sign’s goal this month, which will be boldly apparent by July 12th when sensuous Venus enters fiery, dramatic Leo—followed in suit by intellectual Mercury on the 13th. Thinking on a grand scale comes naturally, and with the right attitude, all signs can take this time as an opportunity to dream their way to success—professionally, romantically, or materially. Grandiosity rules the day during this period. Let it fly, your endless fount of creativity will fuel the fires of your future.

The earthy Capricorn Full Moon will be grounding enough to crystalize your visions into reality, which will require tenacious focus and willpower. Temptations to focus on only fun, light endeavors will lurk nearby when the going gets tough, but Capricorn will pull at our shirtsleeves to remind us of our ultimate goals before it’s too late.
