For all of the married baby mamas out there, have your texts to your partner changed since you tied the knot? If you’re nodding “yes,” you’re not alone. According to a study by data scientist Alice Zhao, who analyzed all of the texts she and her husband exchanged in 2008 (when they were dating) and their married life in 2014, there are some major changes that happen once you’re legally bound.

First off, you no longer greet eachother, Zhao found, with the words “hey,” the other person’s name, as well as the word “love” dropping drastically after marriage. Meanwhile, words like “ok,” “home,” and “dinner” increase, which points to an overall logistics-heavy communication switch.

Take a look at the text bubbles above to see what other words started popping up and disappearing over Zhao’s relationship. Can you relate? What words are you constantly texting your partner, married or not?
