After a long day (or an early morning), the last thing you want to do is meal prep. That’s why we love the concept of a meal in a bowl—they allow you to use whichever ingredients you have on hand. Choose grains or greens (or both!) as the base, next add a protein, and finish it off with your favorite toppings—think fruit, veggies, seeds, cheese, nuts, etc. Finally, add some sort of dressing or sauce for added flavor and voilà, you’ve created a well-rounded meal! The best part is, these can easily be made and taken on-the-go. We’ve created three of our favorite recipes below for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From a popular smoothie bowl to a Southwestern-style fare, we think you’ll want to hop on board the bowl train with these healthy, easy-to-make, and not to mention beautiful dishes.
