Oh, you know how we love ourselves some baby names! Which is why we always look forward to Mother’s Day weekend for a bonus reason: The release of the Social Security Administration’s annual Most Popular Baby Names list! All of the babies born in 2014 have been tallied up, and…drumroll…here are the top 10 boy and girl monikers!
Not too much has changed from the 2013 list. Noah and Liam are still tops for boys (and Mason and Jacob did a flip flop). Meanwhile, Jayden was kicked out of top ten and James moved in. For girls, Sophia has been knocked from her #1 spot and was replaced by Emma. Also, Elizabeth moves out of the top 10 and was replaced by Charlotte (a name which we can only imagine will gain major steam after Royal Baby #2’s arrival!).
See the Top 10 list for both boys and girls below, and stay tuned for the larger Top 100 list next week!
