We’ve already showcased the best mama-kiddie street style spotted at West Coast Craft over the weekend. And now it’s time to give you a virtual tour of the Mother x Lonny lounge.
Designed to look like a modern, family-friendly living room, our space came decked out in a bevy of kid-centric partners, including Room & Board (visitors could enter to win the brand’s amazing Loki kids’ playhouse), toy bins and graphic poufs and tents from The Land of Nod, the coolest robot monkey rocking horse by Monroe Workshop Toys, beautiful, minimal, and functional art tables, stools, an easel, and watercolors from IKEA, imaginative play toys from Bitte, a temporary tattoo station by Tattly, wooden blocks by Little Sapling Toys, and a rad color-block teeter totter via the Paloma Co.
Meanwhile, our friends at Lonny brought it with the interiors, enlisting Campaign to provide comfy couches (all the slip covers can be thrown into the wash!), rugs and accessories by West Elm, rattan chairs by WEND Studio, a statement rug from
Lulu & Georgia, pillows by Pampa, Martha Oakes, and The Citizenry, a hide by The Shepherdess, a sculptural side table from Oja Design, a gorgeous wall weaving by mama-maker Meghan Shimek, and plants by Leon & George livened up the entire space.
Check it all out in our slideshow below and be sure to visit us again in November!
- Welcome!
- The IKEA art setup, with necklace-making, IKEA watercolors, and Tattly temporary tattoos.
- Peekaboo from the Land of Nod x Dusen Dusen play tent, which is now on super sale! (Get it!) To the right: An Olli Ella pom-pom basket via Bitte.
- Room & Board's Loki playhouse, accented by plants from Leon & George.
- A variety of soft and wooden toys from WCC vendor Bitte.
- Our lounge space sat a floor above the throngs of visitors and vendors at West Coast Craft.
- The perfect nursing set-up: A Campaign couch accented by pillows from West Elm and Martha Oakes.
- We're obsessed with this black sheep from Bitte.
- The Paloma Co teeter-totter never disappoints. This one is built to fit two kids.
- This "robot monkey rocking horse" by Monroe Workshop Toys is a living room must. It sits on a rug by Lulu & Georgia.
- A wall weaving by Meghan Shimek and a rattan chair by WEND Studio makes the perfect photo backdrop.
- IKEA watercolors FTW.
- Little Sapling Toys building blocks set atop West Elm's Dusen Dusen Slash rug, and with a glimpse of The Land of Nod x Jenny Pennywood graphic pouf.
- We love this Bower LED Floor Lamp by West Elm in the lower corner.
- We shared our balcony space with local institution 826 Valencia.
- The non-profit hosted a children's writing and illustration workshop.
- Creativity abounds... Until next season!
