Spoiler alert: This story contains details about the Game of Thrones finale episode.

The U.S. Social Security Administration recently revealed its official list of the top baby names for the previous year, and after analyzing the 2018 trends, we are guessing some new parents are taking the final few episodes of Game Of Thrones harder than others. As we reported previously, Daenerys Targaryen, a.k.a. Khaleesi, has been a major muse for parents—the beloved (and briefly reigning) queen of the Seven Kingdoms was the namesake for nearly 800 baby girls born in 2018. Here’s hoping a better fate awaits them.

Names inspired by real-life royalty also made a strong showing on the top baby names of 2018 list: Meghan, as in the Duchess of Sussex, which was hot back in the 1980s, shot up the charts again to be the fastest-rising girls’ name of 2018. And royal baby Archie will have some company—his name moved up more than 200 points on the U.S. charts last year to break into the Top 1,000 for the first time in 30 years.

And of course, Americans tend to bow down to a slightly different type of nobility. Carter, the surname of the house of Jay and Bey, has pretty consistently climbed the charts since 2000, and now sits at the 24th spot on the list, while Saint, the name of Kanye and Kim Kardashian West‘s son, was the second fastest-rising name for boys.

For those more science-minded than starstruck, enter baby Tesla. 109 parents named their kids after an electric car, or to go deeper in the naming lineage, the inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla, whom the automotive brand was named after.
