What are your favorite places in your city to…
Eat with the kids?
“A lot of tacos! Guisados in Echo Park, and they love Little Toyko downtown.”
Eat with adults?
“Cafe Stella, Bestia, L&E Oyster Bar, and Elf. Plus, lots of lunches at Sqirl.”
Shop for kids?
“Nico Nico, Tomboy Kids.”
Shop for yourself?
“Echo Park Craft Fair, Mohawk General Store, Dream Collective, Clare Vivier, and Beatrice Valenzuela.”
Play with your children?
“The beach or Elysian Park.”
Play with your adult friends?
“The beach, or hike or picnic in Elysian Park.”
Get out in nature?
“The beach—we go a lot! Also Elysian Park, Annenberg Beach House, Huntington Gardens, hiking in Angeles Crest Forest. There’s so much in L.A.”
Any good museums?
“LACMA, The Getty, and Huntington Gardens.”
Where do you take out-of-town visitors?
“The Getty Villa. It’s so spectacular there.”
Any tourist-y places that are worth it to visit?
“Olvera Street. I love downtown L.A.!”
