In mid-November Mother and Lonny teamed up once again to host a family-friendly lounge area at the beloved maker showcase West Coast Craft in San Francisco. With over 20,000 visitors coming in and out of the sprawling Fort Mason Center venue over the weekend, we met hundreds of families up in our cozy, design-forward space, which featured a minimalist-meets-maximalist design, thanks to furnishings by Serena & Lily, IKEA, and Karton, the fluffiest pillows ever by Tabula Rasa, a pom-pom wall by local mama Dana Haim, and various touches by WCC vendors Wend, Martha Oakes, Post Studio, The Small + Savage Wild, and Hillery Sproatt. Bonus: We had a basket-full of handcrafted animal masks and toys from Craftspring for all the littles to play with!
This season we also debuted kid-centric programming all weekend long, including animal mask-making and temporary tattoos with local S.F. brand Oso + Me, mini-floral arranging with Mother favorite Natalie Bowen, felt pouch sewing with The New Village School, photo cards and crafts with Fujifilm Instax, wreath-making with Manos SF, and multiple story times with Urban Sitter, who filled our space with much appreciated helpers.
To re-live it all, check out our slideshow below! And for a closer look at some of the stylish mamas who graced our space and the show, check out our mother-child street style roundup.
