It’s not every day that our Mother profile subjects from different coasts convene in one spot. So, when it does happen, it’s cause for celebration. Which is precisely what occurred when the designers of Sea New York (Mother favorite Monica Paolini and business partner Sean Monahan) came to Oakland’s brand-new McMullen boutique for a brunch hosted by Mother and McMullen founder Sherri McMullen. We took the opportunity to celebrate entrepreneurs based in the Bay Area, including many women we’ve profiled right here—Meena Harris, Susan Work, Taylor Jay, Natalie Bowen, Morgan Walker, Anna Chiu, and Angela Tafoya included. Check out our lady-powered party in the photos below and be sure to click through to see what each of these talented women are up to in the new year.
