Everyone practices self-care in different ways. Some like to cozy up on the couch with a new novel. Others prefer a deep-tissue massage and a nightly face mask. There’s also an alarmingly large number of individuals who don’t exercise self-care at all, usually for claims of being too busy, too tired, or having no time. No matter where you fall on the spectrum, one thing is for sure: practicing regular, healthy habits in order to stay rested and restored—mind, body, and soul—is vital and the first step in being able to care for not only yourself, but for those around you. January has arrived, and we here at Mother have taken a vow to prioritize more self-care practices in the New Year. If you’re ready to step forward into a better you, too, why not start 2018 off on the right foot with 10 simple, but highly effective self-care practices in our slideshow, below. Here’s to a year of you!
