Father Essentials: Pete Oswald

Written by Erin Feher

We are switching things up this month, and introducing the first ever dad (!!!) into our Mother Essentials column. With Father’s Day coming up quick, we thought it would be fun to spotlight four fabulous dads throughout the month of June. And we tapped none other than children’s book illustrator and film animator Pete Oswald to star in our very first Father Essentials! Pete has spent considerable time at the top of the New York Times’ Bestsellers List, with The Good Egg (#1) and The Bad Seed (#2), while simultaneously heading up the production design of the Angry Birds movie franchise. But most importantly, he’s an incredible father to three boys: Vincent, 7, Will, 6, and brand new baby, Anderson, 4 months. He lives with his family in Santa Monica, and shares with us his 18 must-have Father Essentials (which just so happen to be great Father’s Day gift ideas), below.
