Mother Essentials: Rebecca Minkoff
Written by Katie Hintz-Zambrano
Is there anything Rebecca Minkoff hasn’t done? Over the past 20 years, the Brooklyn-based talent has made a name for herself as the designer behind her eponymous lifestyle brand. Then, in 2018, she took things a step further, establishing the Female Founder Collective, an organization that now boasts over 25,000 members and supports women-owned business by giving them access to education, networks, and mentorship. Along the way, she’s also given birth to four children who now range in age from teen to toddler (Luca is 13, Bowie is 10, Nico is 7, and Leo is 2). This month, with the new paperback release and refresh of her book—Fearless: The New Rules for Unlocking Creativity, Courage, and Success—she’s imparting all the wisdom she’s gained across business ownership and motherhood more widely. Below, she shares a bit more about her book, alongside her other Mother Essentials of the moment.
